Student Services

Sam Houston is firmly committed to meeting the needs of all exceptional students and to provide a free and appropriate education in the least restrictive environment.  Services include special education, RTI, ESL, and Speech programs.  There are established procedures for referral, assessment and implementation of programs for students who have qualified for Special Education and or related services. Special Education services are provided upon the recommendation of a multi-disciplinary team after a comprehensive evaluation.
